But, in the METAMORPHOSIS ERA, everybody talks about Hilary and averybody says that Hilary is the newt Britney ( of course, Britney is the #1 of pop culture) but I think, Metamorphosis with So yesterday and COME CLEAN, Hilary has a major impact in the pop culture.
Here in Argentina Metamorphosis was 2 PLATINIUM and averybody talks about her. Here, Miley is not famous yet. But Hilary is HUGE here in Argentina. Come clean was #3 on Argentinian charts in 2004 year end. Here she have a big fanbase
Hilary may be bigger in Argentina, both of them have popularity, for example Miley is bigger here in my country (Venezuela) and she has sold more than 10,000 copies and is still on the top 40. You know how HARD its to sell that amount of copies here¡? Wow! its like huge
I expect over 300k in US, but overall, 3,500,000 may not be able to be reached. I know Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus has surpassed that, but she has Hannah with her. Disney Channel's "artist" is what kept the album going.
as much as i don't really like miley's music or her aesthetic.... its obvious she is a huge hit and can pretty much get into any thing and sell big, so for her not to crush hilary's numbers would be a shock to me.
Again people miss the point that she couldn't even sell 900k worldwide from the Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus soundtrack. From the first one, she only sold 800k worldwide. lol Anyone believing this will outsell "Metamorphosis" is delusional. ("Metamorphosis" sold around 1.8 mil worldwide)

The Hannah fad isn't really big outside the US, and the HM2/MMC CD's main big thing was the new Hannah Montana tracks, so that's why it didn't sell well outside the US. However, "Breakout" is Miley only and "See You Again" is proving to be more than just a US hit. I'm sure "Breakout" will sell well, but it won't beat "Metamorphosis". Even Miley knows that!

Miley will have a hard time to get more than 2X platinum in the US in my opinion..Considering all, she won't sell more than 3m worldwide...
