In culture and media, there are certain stages in aging that are regarded as extraordinary and even life-changing. Which point, though, do you believe slays the most? And why?
I just turned 21, and I like the hype that surrounds it. Something about being 20 was so dry, but I feel fresh and alive now
12 ("omg what is he like 12??")
13 (first year of being a teen)
16 (sweet 16 bdays)
18 (high school hew? college ew)
20 (1st year of being an adult)
21 (being able to drink)
27 (iconic year in pop culture bc death)
50 (halfway done w/ ur life)
100+ (old af but slay nonetheless)
18 is MORE iconic than 21. why? because when you turn 21 you can legally drink BUT everyone does it before that anyway.
18 signifies the evolution from a child to an adult (in societies eyes). nobody legally has to take care of you and its the age where most people either sink or swim
