Avril fans are the perfect example of "loyal" tbqh. Even through messes like Hello Kitty they all just make jokes about it, don't get delusional and move on, keep stanning.

It is completely different from flesh tone. It is more soul and rnb. She makes everything work tho

She never has (American) promo. All her music videos this era (sans Rock N Roll, which was mispromoted) have been low budget and boring messes.

She does not have a lot of help from her label. Then again, no one on Epic has a lot of help from them because Epic is a terrible label.
