The song is not played here in Nashville. 107.5 the River is being very conservative, lately. In fact, they never spun "4 Minutes" more than 25x/wk. You better believe, though, that they'll play the hell out of a Carrie Underwood or Taylor Swift song.
It's because it isn't a very popular song. If a song is not doing well, then why play it? If it's not doing well, then playing it could jeopardize your station's number of listeners.
I haven't heard it here in St. Louis either, but I don't listen to the radio much. I don't think it's the sort of track that would do well on American radio. I only really like Oakenfold's remix of it anyway, and lord knows nothing like that would ever get played in the U.S.
I haven't heard it at all here at my local KISS FM station, and they played 4 Minutes quite a bit here. Oh, well, I never really expected them to play GI2M anyway.
