And what does "having more successful artists at the moment" has to do with the fact of her being a queen? I don't get it. Is it even possible to be a THE most successful artist for your entire career? And how do you compare someone with a 25 years old journey with an act that is popular AT THE MOMENT?! It's like saying MJ is no longer the King Of Pop because Justin Timberlake is more successful at the moment. You don't make sense.

On total points for 2008 Leona is higher for her album and single, on a US scale its the same.

When i say at the moment, i dont mean this exact week, i mean like this moment as in year or their album era's. This year has been a better year for Leona then Madonna single and album wise, both in the US and Worlwide.

im not denying that she isnt the queen of pop when i said she wasnt the "queen" she once was i meant that her successes back then are far bigger than what shes accomplishing today,, im saying that Madonna fans shouldnt get all fussed up when people mention that she isnt as successful now in the US.

Big icons like Shania who are worth hundreds of millions of dollars and have all the power make music when and how they want. Shania doesn't have to be a media ***** like Madonna because whenever she returns and puts out music it is always one of the top seller in the world.

So get your head out of your butt. Shania can come and go as she pleases and if she put out an album today it would sell twice as much as any Madonna album.
I am not putting down Madonna because she is a music icon too but to say where is Shania now is the stupidest comment ever. Everybody knows Shania is on hiatus making a new album. Shania will be huge and successful until the day she totally retires.
