The lateness...but if this is true, this is actually a very good thing! I mean, Timber may not be on the top of the charts anymore, but it's not completely forgotten, and this could keep the steam rolling for a bit while she works on her new album!
The GP also gets to hear a new side to Kesha! I don't know if they will be here for the new sound, but it will definitely change peoples' perceptions of her...or at least start towards it.
