Considering Thriller is the most successful album of all time, MJ. But Madonna definitely has had more longevity.

Michael, definitely. He's been the biggest music phenomenon EVER with the Beatles. But Madonna has had much more longevity.

Michael Jackson was a bigger fashion icon (more global 'cause even kids in India and Africa were dressing like him), especially during Thriller. The Beat It jacket in particular.

MJ is better dead than collaborating with every pop tart with remotely any relevance tbh. MJ live on forever!
