Today it was announced that Russia is giving every person who is able to speak Russian the opportunity to become a Russian citizen, regardless of the country they live in. IF enough people do this, you can bet your ass he is going to do the same as in Ukraine and claim he wants to protect his citizens and he is gonna call for an uprising for regions and countries to join Russia again, after which he'll gladly accept them and act like he did nothing wrong
I haven't seen this today yet, but Putin is one sneaky bastard so it would not surprise me.
He's talked about the idea of New Russia and wants to see it restored, which I suppose does equate another Ukrainian land grab as those territories are now apart of Ukraine. The West won't appease Russia twice though.
Exactly, he [Putin] said one of history's most tragic events was the collapse of the Soviet Union.
I also remember when people said he wouldn't take Crimea-- lool.
