no its just that Its a local problem
at my highschool in Canada instead of having cheerleaders we had bhangra dancers. they wore traditional clothes and wore bindis as their outfits. were there white girls allowed on the team? of course, that would be racist if their wasn't
but you cant be racist to white people
during Diwali everyone is welcome and encouraged to wear a sari and they do free mendi tattoos
at new years everyone goes downtown and makes paper lanterns and you can wear a kimono if you want and no one cares
cultural appropriation =/= wearing traditional clothes
its as offensive as dressing as a viking or st.patricks day
the melting pot and her education system is at fault for this mess
