Who needs the most hype to sell albums?
"Hype" is used often now in days to help promote
a album, but which Pop Starlet needs the most
hype to push more units?

Beyonce:
She started out well because of all of the hype of the surprise release (yes--that was hype), but now she's falling in sales, in fact below Katy

Beyonce. That surprise release itself was a huge hype.

But not generated by her, herself.

I love her, but Beyonce.
Britney wouldn't sell with or without hype, so she's not even a valid choice.

Gaga (the hype was not enough this time around). Katy doesn't need hype. She just needs constant promotion to keep going.

Not at people saying Gaga when people say she does too much and people get tired off her

hype as much as some of the others on this poll considering all of her albums sell 3M+ with or without it

Beyoncé herself isn't the one creates the hype around her album releases. It's the media because they always make more money off of Beyoncé's name.
