22 has sold almost 2 million copies.

There were only 2 singles sent to Country radio. Begin Again, which peaked at #3 on the Country Airplay chart and #10 on the new overall Country charts and Red, which peaked at #7 on the Country Airplay chart and #2 on the Overall Country charts.

Both are platinum and both are top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100. Oh and, "All Too Well", an album track charted on the Country Airplay charts cause it got enough airplay to do so without getting sent or even released as a single (before the Grammys performance).

probably Adele bc albums released less often = more anticipation

I think Adele would win with the right campaign since she has all the momentum of the 21 era.

It wouldn't really matter tbh. Both will pull in massive numbers (Adele likely more because of the 21 hype) so it really wouldn't be anything to laugh at or make fun of whoever sold less because either way both will sell more than 99% of the others.
