I find it pretty difficult to say which album is her best one so let me divide it into upper tier and lower tier.

Upper tier: Breakaway + My December + Wrapped In Red
Lower tier: Thankful + All I Ever Wanted + Stronger

(Stronger and about half of AIEW might be in Mid tier though )

None of her album is exceptionally bad though. Most people say that Thankful is her worst album but that doesn't mean it's like all her albums are 9 and Thankful is 2. It's definitely a cute album, I listened to it just last week or so and I really enjoyed it. It only pales a little while compared to her other albums, especially Breakaway. That can be said about all the albums in lower tier. All her albums have some gems though, so it definitely worths to listen to them.

The middle one is meh.

Yeah, SS1 is my least favorite too. SS2 would have been my favorite one if Kelly's mouth hadn't been open. Because of it Stronger wins. I love her eyes in it, they immediately get my attention, there's something magic about them.

The Stronger cover is so good because her eyes are opened and looking straight at you. With a "BUY ME" written on that face impression.

oooo I'm sorry for bugging you all so much, but I bought Breakaway yesterday (I didn't realize I knew most of the songs on it, but I still love it.) But now I have enough money to buy either "All I Ever Wanted" or "My December" ... I understand My December sounds like its a sad album (Which I would enjoy)

Exactly. I've never been a big fan of the cover because I don't like her hair there (looks way too photoshopped) and also I don't really like that it's monochrome in contrast to the background but the eyes wins it all.

I vote for My December!
It is a deep and dark conceptual album (rather than sad) written completely by Kelly herself, so you can be sure that all the emotions are true. It's a masterpiece tbh.

And that you bought Breakaslay! Album of our generation tbh.

EDIT: Don't listen to MJ. My December >>>>>>>> All I Ever Wanted in every single way (maybe but production). It's All I Ever Wanted which has some gems and the rest is forgettable, not My December.

Buy albums in chronological order. First, read a lot about what was happening during 2006 and 07, then listen to My December. Clive Davis is an important character here. Then AIEW will explain a lot, too.

AIEW isn't exactly about the same, but there are some troubles that Kelly had to face.

Sometimes I feel like the only good thing about AIEW was 1) that it was Kelly's comeback thanks to MLWSWY 2) the bonus tracks which are flawless 3) the covers of the singles. With the exception of these three things it was rather a mess: the photoshoot is awful, especially the cover, overall rather forgettable tracks with only few exceptions, the Halo / Already Gone fiasco, IDNHU ruining the era, the feeling of dishonesty after My December, fourth single's mess, Kelly gaining weight, AIEW losing to BEP at Grammys...

I guess she didn't really have much to say about what to do after MD. So she did what they told her to do. But she gained some weight which I guess totally pissed them off, so she won anyway.

Well maybe. But we constantly get info about her attending numerous fast-food restaurants. Can she ever get rid of that habit?
