Tekken TT2, on the other hand, was a last minute addition to this year's lineup. Will Tekken TT2 stand the test of time, or will it be forgotten by next year?

EVO will always be a SF event.

I believe it does have a chance. If TTT could do it three years in a row, then why can't TTT2? It could come in like a dark horse. But I personally believe SF is better and might overshadow it.

anyway it might BUT there are othere tournaments like FINAL ROUND that executive producer of Tekken Katsuhiro Harada has endorsed and shown more interest in. so thats more important to me

Capcom pays for sponsoring and it's not like EVO isn't always a Capcom fest.
I love Capcom fighters but I need them to switch it up.

TTT2 barely made it to begin with so I doubt it will be around next year.
By then Tekken X Street Fighter or Tekken 7 should be announced.

For me personally TR is not my thing but it did well for what it is. It's just a testing ground for Tekken X Street Fighter.

TTT2 was far from tragic it sold decent enough but Namco dropped support thus hurting the fanbase in trying to support it. The fanbase is very divided I am not gonna sit here and pretend it's all good when it isn't. Tekkenation was the forum who ended up getting Jun Kazama back due to them being interested in the story and her moveset.

Tekkenzaibatsu is all about frames frames frames and they would scalp you if you talk about anything else. Unfortunately Tekkennation died due to the new ownership who turned the forum into a pro fest.

Capcom isn't really off the hook either I love Street Fighter but Capcom is milking SF IV dry and wont make a SF 5 game until at least 2016 for release in 2018.

TTT2 flopped because the GP is simply not here for that, even if the fans were supporting it, the hardcore alone will not cut it

No, i want you to try creating a gane from scratch and finish it in less than 3 years, especially a high quality, balanced one like SF4

And you can say what you want about SF recycled moves and shoto characters, that doesn't change the fact that Tekken literally keeps recycling their 20 year old engine, characters, models, movesets, and the clones don't even have different properties like SF's shotos, GOODBYE!

The fighting community and their love for Capcom Fighters Only for most of the time its vile. Gimme DOA5U, Virtua Fighter 5, Skullgirls, Guilty Gear etc. UMvC3 is an unbalanced mess and SF4 is clones everywhere to make a balance. MEH
