Interestingly the majority of these are soul.

The beginning of the Stronger era her voice sounded kinda raspy/weaker, but as the era went on her voice really got better. On the first leg of the Stronger tour she wasn't hitting the F#5 in SUBG, but she was doing it every night on the Summer Tour. Same with the A5s in Miss Independent.

That was initially the problem but now she has a totally open field. Soul is IN right now. Put a dash of electronic in it to make it sound fresh for pop radio and she'll be golden platinum.

Edit: Soulful songs would have shined with her '07 raspy vocals.

I wasn't that impressed with the studio vocals on Stronger compared to Wrapped In Red. Wrapped In Red, in my mind, is without a doubt her best vocal album.

Although Stronger has the G6 whistle in Honestly.

I think when Kelly is in better shape her vocals tend to be better... at least for her more uptempo songs. But she can always deliver a soulful ballad like no other sitting on a couch eating Pringles.

That is the overall audience impression in millions. Stronger peaked at about 175 million audience or something (during it's peak). So that means that 170 million listeners of the radio heard the song. And it's doing amazing since it's recurrent and been released two years ago.

The +0.253 means that + 253,000 listeners have heard the song more than last week. And 56,000 listeners for Catch My Breath. So this means it's getting played on radio often. More played than some singles out there (I wanna be a G.U.Y)

I do think her voice sounded better on WIR than Stronger, because she didn't hold back as much and showed so many more sides of her voice than she's ever shown on a record before.

I don't want to get hated on because I don't know a lot about Kelly's discography, but could some of you list Kelly's albums in order of best to worst? Lately I've really been interested in her music

I think that:

The best songs - Breakaway, All I Ever Wanted

The best vocals - Wrapped In Red, AIEW and a few songs on Stronger. Basically the whole Breakaway is flawless but she really got better.

My personal favourite - My December, but before you introduce yourself to that album, you should be really aware of what Kelly has been through at that time.

My least favourite - Thankful. It only has a few good songs.
