But no one wants to be considered average looking it's apart of human nature. We all want o be seen as stunning whether it be by the world, people in our small town etc..... As far as why we have a higher standard of beauty well with advances in:
. makeup
. photoshop
. social media
. and surgery
It really has elevated the standards especially when things to alter your looks to achieve that perfect 10 are easier to attain with surgery/makeup. With so much advances in photoshop being able to erase every little flaw and demonstrating this false ideal most won't ever attain. Like let's look at this photo of a model years ago:
the societal attitudes were different in even some imperfections those things truly made you beautiful and human. This was an ideal any average woman could achieve but in today's industry, she would be told to lose much more weight and would have photoshopped everything including her veins. It's kinda sad where we are headed. Shoutout to froggyluv2
