That's not what those sales mean.

Sony is still losing money from somewhere. Eventually, they'll figure it out. PS4 is buying them time. Vita is draining resources though. Sony is not profiting as much as they could from PS4. Them selling their perfectly fine stocks in Square Enix shows they need the money. Something internal is bleeding them still.

Well, if you're going to sell buildings and stock to remain "King" of a generation, then are you really king?

No shade but Sony is doing fine but not as great as everyone is making it out to be. PS4 is doing them a needed justice because without it, they would probably be filing bankruptcy. No matter how bad Xbox One does, Microsoft can keep throwing money into it if they want. Same goes for Nintendo. They both have that luxury and are using it. Sony is honestly the only company that needs this gen to be a sweep or else their future is on the line.

Too much bad is going on in other areas of Sony that's dragging down everything great PS4 is doing.

They don't need to throw money at it, when the billions of royalties they get from Android devices pay off their entire XBox operations.

As long as they provide the best console, the best exclusives, and the best experience, that's all that matters. They're willing to take the financial struggle because they actually have passion for what they do... instead of slapping on anti-consumer restrictions to make more money and then take them back after the gamers shut them down.

Sony may be profiting less than Microsoft but it's clear that Sony has already won the gamers' hearts for this generation, and that's all that matters.
