Before my thread was abruptly closed, I sparked up a conversation with Mikeymoonshine after he suggested ATRL was full of misogyny. While I don't particularly agree, I wonder if anyone else feels this way?
If you don't know what Misogyny is, it's the hatred of women.
They only stan for hyper-feminine popstars. Anything that runs against the pretty-long hair/hyper-sexual/overt fashion and makeup agenda doesn't sit well with them.
Plus, they degrade woman who doesn't live up to their standards of what they think beauty is.
Yes all the gays on here calling Rih a ****/ ***** etc. when she shows some skin, but when a man does it y'all are thirsting over it like you're in the middle of the desert and didn't have water for 3 days.
Idolization isn't necessarily incompatible with misogyny. Though they're polar opposites, they result in similar effects. When you idolize something or someone, you take away their agency and only view them as an object to be admired, without an opinion, voice, point of view, etc. Similarly, misogyny strips women away of these very same things.
