It's a country which is seen in a certain light by many people in the world due to recent global events but I am sure that it's a lovely country which had it's flaws just like other countries but has a vast majority of good people.

Don't yoy remember the 26/11 terror attack in india caused by a pakistani ajmal kasab , he was given a death sentence after years of trial and evidence . 170 indians were killed and 600 were seriously injured
I think it's easier for them that way. A lot of non-South Asians think we look the same unless you show them explicit examples. In fact, some of the less educated ones even think South Asians are Middle Eastern. Just look at a few of the responses in this thread or in other ones on ATRL.
By the way, in a post above, you mentioned the Negroid race, but "blacker" Asians are actually of Austronesian/Australoid ancestry. They're not the related to sub-Saharan Africans.
My mistake. I meant to say Negrito. Which is of Australoid origin. Like the people of Andaman and Nicobar.
