Just thinking about the potential Venus video makes me die a just a little inside
It has the signature Gaga sound, has iconic lyrics : "Venus", has an iconic dance move, the V when she says venus, the garden panty thing, the gay as **** bridge, the insane pre chorusjust
no sis it was from #376 up to #321 then #342 then up to #329 and then down back to #376 and then I couldn't see it 'cause it was under #400. I keep a record thank you

Wait....are you being serious? It was in the 500s all day yesterday I thought Didn't it even fall out of the Top 600 at one point?
I checked it because I was thinking it will rise after Capital and Radio 1 played it because of the interviews. I was too ashamed to look how's it doing in the country she's from and that's paying her dust every day.
i CANNOT believe I got my first ban ever before the GUY release. that period was so happy and hopeful but most importantly i never got to share how ****ING AMAZING THAT VIDEO WAS. Now that GUY has flopped into the 7th circle of hell it doesn't seem as appropriate to talk about the epicness of the video but to me the ARTPOP film is The. Best. Music. Video. Ever. Released. The best of Gaga's career and honestly my favorite video ever released by any pop star ever. She was beautiful. The set was beautiful. I loved digging my teeth into all the imagery and deciphering the plot line. And ultimately the story was a beautiful one. I just want to praise her so much for giving me that.. it's made this entire era worth the mess.

I've only started getting more active in the base recently...

You've returned to the Sahara Desert sis. Sorry you missed the one good week we had around here
I hate when people point out that Gaga changed the 2nd single from “Venus” to “Do What U Want” despite her saying that she doesn’t write for the charts, because it’s like she was basically forced to release it by her label. She was put in a very awkward position where her artistic integrity was sacrificed for commercial gain (firing her manager, having to rush to make half-assed concepts for a video and performances for a song she didn’t even want to release, dealing with constant comparisons to other pop stars when it came to commercial success, etc).
A lot of the era has basically been the result of Gaga being told no. ARTPOP isn’t the body of work Gaga wanted to release. The “Applause” video and the “Do What U Want” video aren’t the visual works Gaga wanted them to be. “Do What U Want” isn’t the song Gaga wanted to release. It’s important to remember how chaotic things have been for Gaga behind the scenes.

Despite all the mess I love everything she released this era music and video wise. She can do no wrong in my eyes
