Finally listen to "Sing" completely. It's a very good song, I'm actually impressed, I like Ed Sheeran, he's very talented. "+" was a nice album, I liked it. Now with "Sing" it's brand new Ed. Pretty different from old stuff. It has everything to slay
I'm not trying to deny Dark Horse's power. It's just that I thought it would be much bigger than it was, specially worldwide. I expected it to be "Rolling in the Deep", it was "Set Fire to The Rain" instead. Even their numbers on US are similar. Must be the fact that they're both 3rd singles. Only difference is 21 had sold 6milion on the US by the time SFTTR was released.
Are you implying Set Fire to the Rain wasn't big worldwide?

Help some people understand how great that song is and Ed is moving to a brand new sound.
I swear he posted that same paragraph a couple weeks ago but only this time he changed it to SFTTR

I'm obviously talking about iTunes here, so yeah, Happy is a smash hit while I see DH as only a moderate one. That's just my opinion though

I completely agree this is stated beautifully
Dark Horse underperformed and is on par with the downward trend in successive singles per album like all artists. I can't with people pretending it was bigger than Roar - even on iTunes, Roar was much more successful sales-wise.

I didn't expect this to be so low around the world already. Specially in the biggest market, Japan.
Wow!
I'm really surprised. Japan is such a big market, too. I know they're iTunes isn't but I think it's fair to guess other retailers would report similar numbers.

Bu Japan is only here for Avril Lavigne and Lady Gaga. It's not like tons of US songs are smashing Japan.

How a song that is on its pace to cross the 5 million mark underperformed?
How the actual **** is Dark Horse underperforming again? it reached #1 on Sales, Airplay and Streaming, and it also had great longetivity. What the **** can you ask for more? It is a great ****ing smash hit and I am ****ing sick of people saying it is ****ing underperforming.

Ignore the trolls. It's best to not to feed into them. They just want attention.
