Depends what type of animal it is. If it is a domestic animal, such as a cat or dog; I believe that they should NOT by any means be tested upon, as they are believed to have some sort of intelligence. At least more than most non-domestic animals. Dogs in particular are actually believed to be capable of loving.

However if it is a sewer rat, racoon, or something of that nature, then I think they should absolutely be allowed to perform some tests using them.

I don't believe in testing chemical products on animals. A human should be the test subject as it is a product they THEY will be using, or maybe even a synthetic fiber. However, I do believe in testing for scientific purposes in the right conditions such as brain capacity, ability to remember (rat in a maze) and overall physical ability.

u know though that animals arent used only for hair and skin products right? scientists also test new vaccines and medicines and therapies and well if we dont use the animals we will have to use other human beings....Do you offer yourself?

Well, I am not sure if it's possible.

You can't put human life on the same level as the life of a beast.

Nevertheless, you shouldn't be needlessly cruel. I guess it's all a matter of balance. The ends justifies the means.

I say we test that **** on humans, as we will be the ones using the products.
Make those pedophiles, rapists and killers contribute with something to society. Test it on them.
