Though reports are swirling that the reality show has been "canceled" by Oprah, a rep for the network tells E! News, "Rumors that it is being canceled are untrue." And a source close to Lindsay adds: "The intention was always to do eight episodes. The show is not being canceled."

However, that doesn't mean there will be more.
In July, OWN announced that the series would entail a sit-down interview with Oprah, and eight episodes of the documentary, so the network has indeed fulfilled its commitment.
Insiders tell E! News there is currently no talk of a second season of Lindsay, and it's "highly unlikely" the network would pick up more episodes beyond the initial eight-episode run.

While filming, Lohan is followed 24/7 by a TV crew, which she admitted has been "really interesting experience." "I'm not used to that," Lohan explained. "Especially moving to New York, I don't get bothered at all, which is really lovely. It's nice to be kind of, in a normal space," she added.
Sounds like Lindsay might be ready to move on, too.
It was always supposed to be eight episodes though. This is just people reaching once again.
And judging from the way things are going, I highly doubt the production company, OWN, or Lindsay would even want to try and continue with a second season. I'm into it though so I wouldn't mind one bit.
Let her career stay dead. It's like everyone is rooting/trying to help her except Lindsay trying to help herself! If she's not going to try, why stay interested in her and give her the glam that she craves! Keep her on the D list! Is she 27? just wondering
This is such a non-story. It was always going to be only 8 episodes. Lindsay hated doing it anyway and wouldn't accept an offer for a second season, unless she was getting a pretty sum of money.
