Polygamist means a marriage with more than two people. So how can gays be polygamist if they aren't even allowed to get married period. Am I making myself clear?
I've always thought this has more to do with men (regardless of sexuality) being taught to be more sexually free than women, so when you get people who will reciprocate sexually with one another without second thoughts it results in promiscuity.
I would say men are naturally more sexual than women, but I'm not a woman, so I can't say if they are just as sexual too.
This exactly. It has nothing to do with homosexuality, it's male culture. and since its two men.. well.
Men in general have more desire for sex and less desire for emotional fulfillment like women. So when you put two guys together there's a high chance that any relationships they have will be mostly sexual in nature. In straight relationships, most of the time the guy cares more about the physical aspect and the girl cares more about the emotional aspect so they balance each other out. In gay relationships there isn't that balance between the two because they're usually seeking the same thing. So it makes it seem like gays don't care about monogamy as much as other sexualities.
maybe this is a question better left to researchers. i don't think asking atrl is going to give you a definitive answer...
