Discussion: Are You Healthy?

I don't just mean in the sense that you are a good weight, but do you have a disease or disorder? Do you smoke? Are you mentally healthy? A lot of people assume that just because they are a proper weight that they are, when, in fact, a lot of times, it couldn't be any further from the truth. Good health requires a good physical, mental, and social well-being. So... are you in good health? Discuss.

Good health physically thank god, but emotionally I'm not sure. Might be teetering with a bit of depression just because I'm permanently in a bad mood and very lonely, but maybe it's just because of my less than ideal circumstances of late.

Mentally idk? I find I like being alone more than anything. Like my friend wants to get a apartment together and I just don't want to be bothered.
Also I can be very cold.

I'd say yeah...for the most part. I just need to break out of my shell for the 200th time in my life.

I have Sickle Cell, Bipolar Disorder, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
School and finals probably have my stress levels at an all time high.
Socially I am in a good place which helps with other aspects, but sometimes I just sit down and think about just how much stress my body is under every single day. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to die at an early age because of it. I consider myself to be an easy going person, but at the same time you can only be easy going to a certain extent. You have to care, right?

Sometimes I get stressed, but other than that I'm just fine.
Lots of friends, good grades, no diseases, health weight, etc.

So many people with mental health issues
Society these days really is rough on young adults.
But I'm healthy physically, but my psychiatrist seems to diagnose me with something new every six months. Depression, anxiety, emetophobia, body dismorphic disorder, and possibly bipolar disorder. It's such a mess.

I'm a ****ing mess .
People who talk to me and my friends would never guess anything is wrong with me. Like when I tell people I have BD or PTSD they are literally shocked because "I seem so well put together", but I think I harbor my feelings a lot. Mostly stress though. It's not really depression at this point, but I stress a lot about where I am in life and my future.

stop seeing the psychiatrist, and just think of happy things. Think about things you are thankful for everyday. Remind yourself of the beautiful things in life. Trust me, it will make everything better for u a lot better than some drugs.
