Were you or are you popular in highschool? A Nerd? Loner? Floater? Bully? Stoner? etc.
I was a floater in high school. I didn't really belong to the popular crowd but knew some of them pretty well but I mostly hung out with kids that were semi popular. I'm more of a loner now because I prefer being by myself. What about you??
For whatever reason, unlike a normal school, being in my school band was the closest thing to a clique of popular kids we had. I hated it, they took our "music family" so seriously. It's school band, not a coven
People generally thought I was a bit weird so I had very few close friends (and I preferred it that way) but I got along with people mostly and there were a few groups I hung out with a bit.
I am a semi-floater. I can associate with the popular kids one period and then nerds the next. Although I never have gone to anyone's house because I never wanted to get anyone to drive me anywhere.
The nerds in my programming class though are mostly underclassmen tho.
I never had one specific clique because I pretty much adapt to the needs of individual people. I can be whoever people want me to be while still giving my own flavour to the situation.
A floater who everyone assumes is extremely smart because I make good grades. Literally, I knew everyone at my school and knew all the news and was that "friend" you told information to for it to get to everyone. But I could (and still) hold my closet friends secrets if they wanted me to.
I was different every year of high school tbh. It took me a while to find myself (coming out, my anxiety, etc.)
Freshman - Jock (then I realized they were total assholes)
Sophomore - Punk (like someone who goes to underground band shows and stuff. They were way too emotional for me)
Junior - Prep (I felt I fit in the most with them. We always did well in school and had fun on the weekends)
Senior - My preppy friends started hating me so I lost them all, but now I just have a few close friends but IDGAF
I was a shy nerd during my early secondary school years. During my A Level years, I was more of a hybrid because by the time I was more confident and outspoken so I gained more friends. So I fitted into every clique; i.e. the nerds, the populars, the sport guys etc.
I wasn't friends with everyone, but I got along with people from every "clique" and hung out with those people. My friends would be so confused sometimes why I had such a variety of people I talk too
