Toxic is overrated by her fans.

don't let your obvious hatred for Britney blind you sis.
I answered your question, now tell me what impact Hips Don't Lie had

Let's not act as tho toxic doesn't have millions of sales/airplay as well, but it also has influence on future hits as well as the critics praise.

Again, sales do not equal impact. you're like a broken record.
Toxic also has sales, radio plays and is about to become vevo certified.
I get it, you dislike Britney, you're trying to discredit her when the receipts are right in front of your face. it's pathetic.

i thought i already clocked this?
views? not when toxic already had a video with over 100 million views that was deleted when vevo was introduced.
radio? not when toxic gets more recurrent airplay, at least once a day from big stations like kiis while HDL is rarely played.
club plays? a cute fable, how exactly are you measuring this?
and as far as sales, we have already established that HDL was a bigger hit but it certainly does not mean it has more impact. It speaks volumes when toxic, a dance song, is still being covered on singing competitions all the time

you'll be sorry to hear that you didn't clock anything
let me get this straight...one of you is claiming just a few critics and now you are claiming x factor and American idol auditions?? is that primary school?
as for the views...every video that had views before Vevo has on its description "Pre-VEVO play count......."
just look at katy's first 6 videos...got any proof for Toxic?
of course you don't want sales to be part of a song's impact...why would you, when hips outsold toxic by millions... had toxic sold 10 million and hips 3, y'all would mention it

no i didn't take any screenshots from 4 years ago, but you won't argue with a britney stan on how many views her videos had. Womanizer was also at over 100 million views and then it was deleted, do you really think womanizer which was britney's huge comeback would only have a little over 100 million views today? Regardless Shakira just like JLo get a lot of youtube views, that doesn't mean ****. Run the world has more views than HDL, it has more impact then? hell even CRTFY has 250 million views, you really think that has impact?

Why is Blink 182 still available for request? Are you going to argue that All the Small Things has more impact as well?

The fact that you came for ATST, a song that is in multiple movies till this day, and is still requested heavily on pop radio, really says something about your argument.

Reading with understanding and basic knowledge of the topic being discussed is FUNDAMENTAL just as well as it is to be able to make logical conclusions. Your "conclusion" is very illogical and even "funny" cause it absolutely makes no sense and you have entirely missed my point that is very obvious and very blatant.

how on earth can you compare a video from the VEVO era with a video from the pre-YOUTUBE era?
