Cheryl Cole is reportedly planning to launch her own brands of toothpaste and talcum powder, amongst other odd things.
While things like Cheryl branded false nails and eye lashes aren’t too surprising, Cheryl’s range of hair-removal cream, toothpaste and spot treatments perhaps are.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, wise thinking Cheryl has come up with around 50 items that she’s trademarked already.
“She will once again become the most popular and talked about female celeb in Britain, and is determined to maximise the exposure.”
The source added: “Young girls want to look like her, or smell like her, if they think they can do that by buying Cheryl’s eponymous range of moisturisers, eyelashes and perfumes, then they will. “First and foremost, Cheryl Cole is now a businesswoman, and brand.”
To trademark her name has nothing to do with releasing products with it. That only means nobody can use her name without her permission, like Superdrug did some months ago.
Wait a second. The Daily Mirror give her favourable press now since she did that Afghanistan visit for the Pride of Britain awards so this may actually be true.
