If I could give advice to her labels, assuming the album isn't yet completed so April/May/June are out of the question, I'd say what makes the most sense is August (VMAs time) for the lead and then release early October like Skyfall.
I mean, May and June for the single then August for the LP might would work too (and is obviously preferable to us as desperate fans

), but only if everything's good and together in time.
Either way they work it out, promote then with performances at 2014 VMAs and Grammys 2015 and (please God) tour 2015.
Demand is obviously better than hype because it's more sustainable for sales, but nevertheless it can disappear equally quickly should she start stretch this wait out too long.
