I don't want to disrespect the other members in any way at all, because this is a particularly tough challenge in that at this stage pretty much everyone is doing really well and it's the little things are are getting people eliminated, but I think that if HERMĒS' elimination was on the basis of the nature of the gif, I think that's a bit unfair. I understand and completely agree that domestic violence is wrong, and I don't condone that in any way, shape, or form, but the gif wasn't of an actual domestic violence case, but a staged example. Straight away I feel that this should have eliminated the "wrong" factor that a lot of the judges clearly felt towards HERMĒS' gif, as in comparison with my own gif, they're both gifs of staged violence where all parties involved are in agreement of what's being done. Nobody was actually harmed in the making of the gif, which is the important thing to note here.

I'm going to miss you HERMĒS, you were great competition, and I'll be checking next cycle if you enter again.

I know there was a lot of shock that Melvin was eliminated and that Mimi was in the bottom two with him. I honestly had a feeling early on that Melvin would have been in the bottom, but not Mimi. I thought the other person in the bottom two would have been either Sam Jay or Hugamari. But that's what happens you have 5 judges, you just never know how the results are going to play out. It's also the reason why there are 5 judges, or 6 with a guest judge. It helps out with averages and the more people included in those averages, the more appropriate it is.

Another thing I look at and keep track of, what you probably don't know, is your OVERALL total score and average score from all the challenges thus far. It helps show who has done better than who in the overall sense. Which is what sadly happened in the case of Melvin vs. Mimi. Mimi had done better than Melvin overall, with a fairly significant difference, despite Melvin being ranked higher in that challenge than Mimi.
