Mainly because of the personal meaning to me. That song means more to me personally than any other song that I've ever heard. When I was little I was very close to my grandfather, and he bought me an extraordinary amount of music. Still to this day, I think that my interest and obsession with music stems from how much music I experienced when around him. I still have literally hundreds of CD's that he bought me over the years, most of which I never listen to but I can't seem to part with them.
He bought me the Charmbracelet CD, and when I used to play it he loved Through The Rain, and that song always stuck out the most and reminded me of him.
He passed away when I was 7, and at the time a lady said to me do I have a song that reminds me of him, and I said yes it is Through the Rain by Mariah Carey, and she said that whenever I miss him I should listen to the song, and I will feel close to him and know that he's watching over me. I know she only said it to me to try and comfort me as a child, but still to this day - 11 years later I carry that with me and every time I play that song I feel 6 years old again and like I'm with my grandad. It's sort of fitting that the song is about getting through inner struggles and finding strength within yourself.
If one day by some turn of events I happened to meet Mariah Carey, I would thank her for giving me a song that makes me feel like I never truly lost my grandfather.

There was once a Lamb here who was going to get a tattoo of lyrics from Outside. I don't remember if it was dlf or not, so I'm gonna reserve a comment I was going to make.
Anyway, Honey is the worst on Butterfly; such a trashy song.

Wasn't me. I'd get one of lyrics from Loverboy if any.
Honey is a great song. I love her vocals on the song. The lead, the background, the harmonies, the runs, the inflections, the different weird sounds she makes with her voice >>>>><

Her vocal techniques were great but the lyrics are disgusting and make the song unbearable.

Generic, repetitive? Your last.fm has more plays on Katy Perry than Mariah let's not.

Credit to Honey, it was the only song on the album sung with full voice. From Track 2 of Butterfly until the last breath of You're Mine, she's been stuck singing with that out-of-breath moaning.

Mariah has released 0 albums since I got my last.fm, Katy released two. I gotta entertain myself somehow whilst Mariah sits in the studio drinking champagne and laughing at Arianna's performances instead of recording music.

Who needs a re-release of the Bible when Jesus himself resurrected to hand craft the original and fresh masterpiece that was Rainbow? Modern Bible that influenced generations to come.

Ummmmm DON'T come for those flawless songs. Bliss is the only painful song; I have to be in the mood for it and that's a rare mood to be in.
