Chelsea Handler dropped a big hint on Tuesday as to her next gig.
The talk show host shared a photo on Instagram where she's holding a booklet stamped with the CBS logo. The network has widely been reported to be interested in hiring the outspoken blonde after her E! contract expires later this year. There is even talk she could replace Craig Ferguson, according to TMZ.
I have always felt so bad for her trapped on Chelsea Lately because she has so obviously hated it for the last few years and you can see her disdain for most of the celebrity guests in her eyes. She's hilarious though, and her books are great (can't remember which one it was but one had a story about her night in a cell) and it was hilarious.
that title is misleading though. if you read it, CBS said Chelsea is not being negotiated to take over LLN because they're simply not discussing a LLN replacement at all right now.
I hope she brings her writers with her. That way she'll have the energy to do some funny skits again. She doesn't have that fire anymore... so it's a good move for her to change up her career.
I think she should try to make After Lately an online show. I miss it, it was hilarious
