Is she talking about attending the festivals or performing at them? If it's attending ehhhh I see where she's coming from but they deserve to enjoy the music at well. At times celebrities often seem out-of-place and try-hard at these types of things but it's ultimately up to them if they want to attend. I will say that big celebrities that do the most (Selena and the Jenners this time around
) are often looked at with disdain from people outside their core base. If you're there for reasons beside the music, we can usually tell.
Ultimately, Coachella is now a mainstream and internationally-recognized event. It's not the same thing it was five or ten or fifteen years ago. Whether that's a good thing or not is entirely up to perspective
