Katy Perry's BFF Johnny Wujek has revealed the hilarious story of how he and the "Unconditionally" hitmaker met years before she was famous.
The celebrity stylist and costume designer said the "International Smile" singer tried to flirt with him at a house party thrown by Australian fashion label Sass and Bide in Beverly Hills back in 2006, but things didn't quite go as planned.
'She was trying to hit on me and I was trying to hit on her friend,' he told the MailOnline.
'I didn't even notice her, but I noticed him. She came up to me and asked whose team I was on and I said "His team". The rest is history.'
'At the time Katy was like "Well, I just got dropped by my record label but be patient, I'll be back",' he said.
'I believed her. She just had that pizazz, that confidence.
'She knew that she was going to be a star and she was like "You're coming with me".'
'I can honestly say she hasn't changed from the day I met her to now.
'She's got curves and she can sing and dance and she's confident. She owns all of her self.'
