How is the success of one song back in 2012 proving Hunter Hayes has a bigger future then Luke Bryan in country music?
I'll wait
His debut album had a rerelease
And if you get grammy exposure, literally there shouldn't be any excuse why a song that was performed at the Grammys (besides a cover) is flopping
|
You said it isn't about sale but you keep dragon his debut album's sales
Not only he has second best selling country song by a solo male artist but he already received 4 nominations from Grammy, he won Best new artist, artist of the year, best video, and many more nominations from country music community at this early stage of his career
Luke would never find success with his first album even of he re-released it.

God of Country: Hunter Hayes
Amaloner, baksoul, Bie, Hunter_13, JakeKills, joshualance, LAHouK, Leppie, LoKoPaNdA, McFosterXX, TaylorFantasy, Tigre

I'm curious why y'all think this way when both Hunters debut album consistentcy and Luke Bryan's consistent sales should give you a good idea of whom will sell more in the future, because it seems like 4 people are chatting about this in this thread

Poor Hunter. At least his biggest single, "Wanted" (3,476,000 copies), outsold Luke's "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)" (3,000,000). There's always that silver lining
|
Excuse me! Hunter is not a one hit wonder, Somebody's heartbreak and I want crazy were hits. You need to see some research
And what link should I add? Why should I add?

Why are you always talking about album sales when Hunter only has one album out?

1. Your probably implying dragging not dragon
2. your the one who reverts back to wanted outselling any Luke Bryan single and you can only use his top selling single and the fact its hunters debut era which is why Hunter has some sort of bright future ahead of him. With this you deny Luke of having a bigger future (probably why you made the thread). So I have to bring back the sales because you won't stop obsessing that Hunter had 1 song do better then any other Luke Bryan single.
3. You and I would never know if had Luke rereleased his first album if he would have found more success. It never happened to date, only until Luke rereleased his first album we will know.

I can't speak for everyone on that list, but I know that at least a few of us absolutely loathe the "bro-country" that Bryan and his bosom buddies FGL, Shelton, Aldean, and the like are releasing.
We don't give a **** about who's more successful. We care about who we think is the better artist, and success is not an indication of one artist being better than another.

Barely? It has sold 1.2M+ already. Luke didn't find success during his first era.

You basically tried to come for Luke and you did it by comparing his airplay and sales stats.

Sis, Bie is from a country where English is not the first language; be nice.
Also, Bie is our friend. Love your Bie.

Sis, you sound like my annoying ass grandpa who's still upset about Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson being labeled country. Build a bridge and get over it because you're decades late. Country music has always been pop music ten years late and no amount of crying over how much you miss the pop music of the 1990s country music of the 2000s decade will change that

I like how your only crutch to hold over Luke Bryan being less then Hunter Hayes is by saying Hunter Hayes wanted sold more then any individual single that Luke Bryan has sold.
Tell me how one hit wonder artists feel when they have one song of theirs outsell the top pop girls top singles, and tell me how they feel when they cannot reciprocate the success of their top selling single.
And even if Luke didn't find top success in his first era, he got his first #1 country single on his second album. If Invisible cannot reciprocate wanted's success, can I say Hunter Haynes has peaked?
Also your other opinion about Hunter writing better music, that's also an opinion.
|
I posted that after those 4 posts of yours bringing up sales. Now your just trolling
---
In conclusion I see having a realistic future in country music, despite how terrible it can be at times, it can be decently reflected in the sales which is how sales keeps being brought up. In the end, that's how I see Luke Bryan having long success in country, but Hunter can see success if he can get the right hit songs, otherwise he can't attain a consistent level of success Bryan is having right now.
I picked Luke Bryan for that even if, as a musician, Hunter might be a better artist, but in country music its all about being an entertainer as well which Luke has that!

A shame because as far as I'm concerned, Luke is one of the 4 worst things to happen to country music this century.

The Taylor stans having bad taste in a country music thread is a kii. I was one of the 40,000; hfdu turn on me and good country music like this.
Now we just need the Carrie Underwood stans to come in here and make the right choice.

Do you really not get why the Taylor Swift fans would prefer the boy who cowrote his debut album and played every instrument on it over the man with 2 cowriting credits on his latest studio album?
The Carrie stans L U V Hunter he opened the Blown Away tour.
