I honestly think it's a shame that Born This Way is one of Gaga's biggest hits.

It's admirable that she did a song with those type of lyrics, and I respect the song for that, but it really is just a terrible song. I haven't played it since 2011.

I remember being extremely disappointed when I heard it.

Because it's a pop song with urban/trap influences? It's certainly more fitting on Urban radio than say, Royals was. Your bias against Katy gets annoying at times. Just let it go

Dark Horse crossing over to urban wasn't surprising though. Urban will play almost anything as long at it's catchy and fits in with their regular playlist

They're servicing Birthday to Rhythmic and Urban so with the extra radio support I think a #1 isn't entirely implausible

There isn't enough influence in the world to make Katy believable on an urban record.

Miley, yes, it works perfectly for her on 23 and We Cant Stop.

I guess with the extra verse tossed on by Juicy J it's not that surprising.
It's just surprising that they'd spin a song by a straight-up Top 40 strictly-pop act like Katy.

Katy's music is literally so mindless and dumb. I'm not hater I like me some Katy Perry when I don't feel like using my brain, like most of the GP.

It was #1 for 5-6 weeks lol.

I think the song is really remembered in the gay community but it's a very niche song aimed towards gay people so that's not a surprise.
