Finally, a rate that I have wanted to participate in for so long is finally getting off of the ground...but only because I'm hosting it. Fun fact: This is also the very first rate I will be conducting on ATRL by myself. This is a daunting task that I am not necessarily looking forward to, but it's one that has to be done, for it's a singles rate for the band considered by many to be the greatest band in the history of rock and roll. This is a band who have created a discography's worth of classic songs, songs that remain timeless even today. And now, you get the chance to rate the Beatles singles, one by one.
Here's how this is going to work. You're going to rate every song from a scale of 0-10. And yes, you can use .5, if you wish to. You are to send in your rates to me and only me via PM by no later than April 27th, 2014, after which, the rate will begin either the following day or two days after. If possible, I'd like to see comments on the songs (or whatever songs you feel comfortable writing about) included with your rates. I will almost assuredly include every one I'm sent in the results posts. I have also decided to ONLY include A-sides. Why? Because there's a good chance I may want to do a B-sides rate, at some point. Some of the B-Sides are just ridiculous, too: "Rain", "A Day in the Life", "I Saw Her Standing There", "I Am the Walrus", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"...I mean, this deserves its own rate. Oh, and no "Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand". It's literally the same song, just in German. OH, and I'm not including the Beatles movie medley, seeing as it's just the equivalent of a Beatles compilation.
With that said... ladies and gentlemen, THE BEATLES!

Damn, that's a lot of songs to rate
But, on a second thought, most of them are REALLY short. I think I'm gonna do this.

See, as someone who has listened to their entire discog, it won't bother me much to go back and listen to them again, but it can be a daunting task to take on all of these songs if you're a Beatles newb...until you realize that many of the songs are short. Really, "Hey Jude" is what you have to worry about.

I wanna do this! Would it be too much to ask for a Spotify playlist? Sorry I'm rather lazy I'd still do this without though.

If their music was on Spotify, then I'd probably do so, but it isn't.
I'll see if, maybe, I can put together a YouTube playlist instead.

I've listened to 32 of the singles listed above. I enjoy about 30 of those greatly. I hate "Lady Madonna". That song just irks me so much.

And boom goes the dynamite.
Quick question: Is there a way to embed a whole playlist on ATRL? Or would it have to be single songs?

I did! You were also the first to finish rating the songs. Yes, this means that I haven't finished rating the songs. I'm also lazy, sue me.

It's just that I had an ankle sprain so I spent this sunny Sunday at home listening to music Plus, I knew most of these.
Lemme call a lawyer, then.
