I went to 1 class today and was like, "I'm done for the day.."
Ultimately I was waiting up till 5AM for Lana, her new song.
And ATRL, her upgrade information.
But the UK station didn't play it till 6AM my time, then I realized that I had my first class 4 hours from then. So I just stayed up.
And now we're here.

Not me getting my first warning in months. I guess it's time to stay out of threads even remotely having to do with Gaga.
Oh, and Matty, the winner of this season of Top Member should be awarded some of those ATRL+ credits.

I really hope BeyRih wins this week tbh. 2 dark horses winning in a row would slay.

I personally think a light horse should win this time.

I think the last two. Otherwise it’s good. I have seen it around ever since you submitted it.

So basic, but good. I commend you for not caring about the size, but that completely hinders my ability to use it. I can think of several instances in my post history where this would've sufficed, but the lack of compactness would've left it for the birds. BUT THEN AGAIN, all my uses would've been for bragging rights so it's oversized nature would just emphasize my overgrown ego.

There's so little happening in this GIF that I missed the motion at first. It's very understated—not something that I associate with ATRL at all. You seem to be using the image as a winking punctuation on a post, but the cat's wink is more sleepy than sassy, so it lacks that visual punch you're aiming for. Your entry looks great, though; it's probably my favorite layout of the week.

It's quirky subtleness seems as though it would limit it's usage around here, but you provided amazing examples. I still want to use this for my avatar one day too.

It's cute. Kind of shady, but there's not really much else to it than a cat with glasses and the occasional lick. I can see it being used though.

Adding the fabricated examples with actual ones, which include a good mix of yours and other members, was a great selling point for this obvious instant hit recipe of a gif.

I absolutely love Ja'mie, so I wanted to like your entry more, but something about it is just not quite right. Having all the girls run away at the end of the GIF sort of undermines the fighting you intend to emphasize in your examples. One option would be to cut it shorter, leaving just the fight—an image that I can actually imagine doing rather well across the forum. As it is, the GIF might work better as a sort call to clean up the discussion in a thread ("Oh shoot, the mods are here!)" or perhaps a taunt to a retreating rival, though obviously the opportunities for use would be less.

The custom quote titles in the examples were nice, but overall a bit lackluster.

The shadiness is unexpectedly effective, and the absurdity of it being from a children's television program gives it an extra appeal. I could easily see two members locked in a stan battle using this image in response after response to each other. Your presentation is great, too.

Sorry, I don't find this GIF funny at all. It looks like a scene of domestic abuse, and I could never enjoy something tied so closely to violence against women. That issue aside, however, the image is also simply too on point. He's literally dragging her—that doesn't seem like a particularly creative visual response. The only example where the GIF really added anything was the ARTPOP/Prism edit.

I get the point of the gif is to exemplify a drag... but this is just pure domestic violence. I don't condone that. Also, you gave a pretty big description when I only wanted the examples to do the talking.

It's sort of fun on its own, but I still don't understand how you would expect members to use it. The image doesn't add anything particular to the posts you included. There seems to be a joke in there somewhere, but I can't figure out what it is.

Choosing a Disney GIF this week was smart for your brand, but that's the only positive thing I can say about this entry (besides that your banner looks great). It might have worked better a couple of seasons ago, when *dead* GIFs were all the rage on ATRL—including a very popular image of Pocahontas diving off a cliff. I haven't see anyone use them in ages, though. As a result, you feel passé this week, instead of like a trendsetter.

The image is bizarre, and yet it completely works in the examples you've provided. I'm not sure it would ever catch on across the forum; if it did, though, I almost wouldn't be surprised.
