I'm straight and I went to a gay bar before (but I didn't know beforehand that it would be a gay bar, so I didn't realize until I was already there). I stayed the whole night and it was fine. But I wouldn't go to one again out of choice, I didn't really like the music there.
I've talked about this with the girl I'm living with, saying it would be fun to see if I would get hit on. It must be such a confidence boost! A good friend of mine is also gay and he told me that they play a lot of good music there, so yeah

The main reason for me to be in a dark ass, musty ass, crowded ass club is to get laid. Chances are I'm not gonna find any women that are DTF in those type of places
I'm a straight female (I don't know if I count), but I go to the gay club all the time with my gay male friends, sister, and best friend and I honestly prefer it over the straight club. I don't really go out much at all anymore though.
