A thread asking do you use a hooking up app. Like, no one was being explicit and they were actually having a mature discussion about it I would've totally understand if it gotten closed, but a delete itself was unecessary

I don't blame Maiko for requesting a permaban TBH, the whole April Fool's thing was really stupid. I don't know why they thought it funny to make a joke out of a serious issue? Many of the mods on here do need to be fired and this place does need to be re-hauled. I wish it wasn't a joke.

It's actually not that serious.. at all. Believe it or not, ATRLs current staff is extremely intelligent, fair and experienced. I like maiko, but God bless his soul, he was already preparing to complain about the new mods. Did you see him going in on Giselle? The fact of the matter is that some people are never going to be content with the team because it's never going to be perfectly catered to one persons preferences.

As long as people are getting WPs, they are going to find someone to blame it on (typically a random mod of their choice) and always be discontent with the fact that there's a "tainted mod".

and honestly, if you take ATRL that seriously than you're probably overdue for a nice, long break anyway.

Poor Maiko, he can always beg Kworb on twitter to unban him.

A "serious issue" Gyal, if you think the moderation team on ATRL is a serious issue, please get some perspective.

The main people complaining about the moderation are the consistently messy members. It's the same people getting banned every single month, getting all their threads closed, getting warned for over-the-top explicitness... perhaps the members themselves are the problem?

psh actually I wouldn't be surprised if a big portion of the warnings given to Gaga stans come from Retro. He's like the mean big brother we never asked for
