Not really, this has happened to them before with the Virtual Boy. Nintendo has already had such longevity and money that one failed system isn't going to bring them collapsing like a lot of people think will happen. Plus, the 3DS is basically there helping them out.
No matter what the future is still going to look bright for Nintendo, this is just another Virtual Boy. History repeating itself, etc. etc.
