Not at all, they think the spectrum of our emotions is limited to being horny, bitchy and OMG, and the majority of the time, I'm none of those. Sadly, so many gays play to the stereotype to try and be a niche and don't help our case
Some do but there is a large amount of teenage straight girls who think that all gay boys are flamboyant, sassy, and feminine and say they desperately want a gay best friend as if every single gay guy is the exact same. They treat gay guys like pets they can dress up or something and they don't even realize that they're being offensive
I had many hags when I was in school. They treated me like a pet then straight guys started to do it too. They treated me like royalty tbh. When some one would picked on me they would take up for me. This was the popular kids too. I like it tbh. I need these people now. Now I'm a has been
jdafkld straight girls are not a monolith. Not all straight girls are the same.
A lot of them view gay guys as little more than a commodity, hence the origin of the "gay best friend." They're the absolute worst, though, and hardly representative of all straight girls.
Speaking in general terms, I'm going to have to say no. There is a lot of objectification, this whole idea of a "gay best friend" as someone to take you shopping and give you fashion advice and all that ********. They're seen more as pets than people and they define them entirely by their sexuality.
No and it's sad. You can literally see the girls almost competing to see who's friends of the gay guy first, and not because they're interested in their love life or personality.
