Just last week I was listening to Meat Loaf's I'd Do Anything For Love and was thinking that I would kill for Kelly to have such a flawless, epic ballad.
So, I volunteered at an LGBT prom hosted by my local GLSEN, and then my roommate and I decided to have fun and stay for the main event and then the DJ played a song and I knew the singer was Kelly but didn't recognize the song. I knew it was her. It was driving me crazy so I Googled some lyrics and I found it to be Kelly's unreleased song, I Remember. I'm still in shock that a DJ played one of her unreleased songs...
Kelly's vocals are touching me tonight, she's SOOO good, A Moment Like This is just legendary, her being the first American Idol then delivering those vocals, slay me Kelly!

I remember saying this right when the song came out. It would have been a perfect introduction to country Kelly without the 'hick'. And yeah, now that she's making a happier record I think it will attract more buyers.

As you can see it only works well for some people who can pull it off, i'm really not here for Kelly doing this. It's usually for artists who are more, all-round entertainers. Not really the sort of thing vocalists do.
