It's totally fan made. They just filtered the vocals out and cleared them up + placed them over the old ones, whilst awfully chopping bits out and adding them as "background vocals".

Such a beautiful song. What a loss.

You can see clipping - it's "cuf" of audio peaks.

Now look at the waveform of this(it is in the same point of song)


Here you have uncut waveform with some small "peaks". It is impossible to fix audio clipping because overdrive always lose peaks information.

I think it is still demo(I can hear some mistakes with using autotune) but with professional mix and mastering.

Actually at the beginning of the Second verse right after the chorus, and right before the bridge, you can here a change if you use headphones. So yeah I think this is just edited. I love it tho

No, they've just lowered the volume of the original song (you an tell as the actual "instrumental" is quiter + they've just used a limiter (+ compressor) on both. It's easy to get rid of clipping without loss of quality.

If you lowered the volume you still have clipped peaks but on lower level of signal.

Limiter is a type of compressor with ratio <1:30 so how they make track with bigger dynamic range? DR of demo is 4dB, of the next version 8dB. Clipping ALWAYS remove some information. You need Digital Signal Processing course ASAP.

I think this is probably just another version of the demo they may have had that got leaked. It doesn't sound final to me, even though its clear mix without clipping. I'm sure they have tons of different versions that they ended up trying before they just decided to scrap it.

Either way I love this one, it sounds so euphoric.
