Will the Hunger Games movies continue to gross around 800 million WW or will they have a decline in grossing?
The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 is already a much anticipated movie. But will it gross as much money as Catching Fire?

They'll both be equally successful, though I think the success of Part 2 will hinge on how well-received Part 1 is.

yes much more hype for Mockingjay imo. Also Catching Fire would of made a billion if it was not for The Hobbit And Frozen.

They'll probably both outgross Catching Fire since Catching Fire really helped the series.

I like the books more than the first 2 movies aswell. The movies are still very good. But I really think that the next 2 movies will be AMAZING. I dunno, I just really think they will be.

I think Catching Fire was the height of the hype. It'll die down, maybe 600-800 for Part 1 and 500-700 for Part 2.

I'm quite sure Part 2 would gross the most? Part 1 would probably match Catching Fire I guess.

The final installments are always the highest-grossing a la Harry Potter and (I think) Twilight

Part 1 will probably be as sucessful as Catching Fire, maybe more. Part 2 will depend on the reception of Part 1 and the changes they make to the plot (they need to shake up the third act if they want moviegoers to like the movie). I highly doubt there will be a decline either way.

P1 will be more successful than CF, and P2 will be more successful than P1.
