Additionally, Facebook is smart, they're trying to become like a Yahoo/AOL/MSN type site while having social networking involved. That's the best route since it ensures people won't leave since they still will want to check the news daily or message their friends/family.

I disabled Facebook for security reasons but I really miss how easy contacting people through the Messenger app was.
Anyway, here in Greece facebook is the most popular network so idk.
