I also think gypsy has a similar flavor an YAI or TEOG and could gain a bit of respect and admiration from the older crow like TEOG. Before that she was kind of brushed off as a Popstar by some but TEOG let her talent shine and on ARTPOP gypsy comes closest to that

The wrong perception about Gaga is she's talentless due to all the desperate gimmicks (Halloween costumes, pathetic tweets, etc)

The only way to counter this is to let that talent shine quietly. Truly forget the marketing and find that inner soul, and she'll smash again. Gypsy is the only song left that can provide a forum that even begins to employ this strategy.

Tbh I don't care if it's a flop if she makes a Gypsy video similar to the Porter magazine shoot I can die happy

She should continue with G.U.Y. and release Gypsy a week or so into her tour. Do a cute little tour video and then when the tour wraps up, go off the radar for a year and then release an album inspired by Gypsy, the iconic smash hit.

It's too late now. Gypsy won't go anywhere. Not that it was very radio friendly to begin with. Guy had such a huge video budget. I doubt it would get the promotion it needs anyway.

I'll be the first to say I love the video, but it was entirely pointless. Why sink that much money into a song from an already "under-performing" album? It should have been clear long ago that she needed to divorce herself from this stale artpop concept and come back with a fresh image and great music. It's really that simple.

You see, monsters just don't get it, it's not about talent, it's about her. People are just not here for her. She's overexposed, shoved at them from every angle. Try to understand that.

The only possibility for her is to give the public some breathing space, but it seems like she doesn't realize that and/or her team wants to milk out as much as they can before it all dries up.

She made it big by promoting through every avenue she could get hold of. Popstars think they're above mass promotion and then wonder why their singles flop. Stop begging for the return of The Fame's sound and start asking for the return of The Fame's work ethic, respectively.

she's not even that talented at all. "the voice" round 1 candidates are about the same, some even better. i think her voice is annoying. she's a pop/dance singer but she always wants to outshine the entire song with her stuffed nose-like vocals.

the only thing that can save her is hiding herself completely and come back in a few decades as a jazz/lana del rey type of "artist". but even then she'll **** up because she'll want to top the charts with it and overexpose herself again.

It would be funny to see her panicked again (dumping Venus in favour of DWUW) and release Gypsy, only to see it do worse than expected.
