But obviously, no brainer, Jordin will rake in the cash. But how does that work? When I buy my ticket, I don't "choose" what artist I'm seeing. I'm seeing Jordin AND Jesse.
I don't think you choose what artist your seeing when you buy a ticket from Ticket Master. It just says Jesse McCartney AND Jordin Sparks tour. Then you buy a ticket.
One Step At A Time is better IMO, but yes, No Air is good too. I can't wait for her 2nd album. Have you been a Jesse fan since the beginning. Was it fun anticipating his 2nd effort?
I think we're greatly over-estimating the effect their touring together will benefit either of their sales. I don't really see touring as a form of promotion that will boost sales of OSAAT or Leavin' (or whatever single Jesse decides to release next) I think most of the promotion for these songs will come from other areas (radio/television play and etc..) . A concert venue will reach only a couple thousand fans( who most likely already own the songs) and thus sales of singles won't be boosted just because of a tour.
I once attended a concert of my favorite mexican artist (Yuridia) and she was coming with some unknown bastard. I told mself I would enjoy both, but HE was first. Two interminable hours I had to listen to the guy! I was sick. I mean really sick, my stomach hurted Anyway, she came out and was the perfect medicine. It was worth the wait. Don't fool yourself you're going to enjoy both because it's not truth. You want to see your favorite artist and they won't be together the whole time.
They both are enjoyable and have hits I'm sure the audience will stick around to hear. Jesse should go first because you know everyone gonna be waiting to hear No Air.
It's only fair. If you don't care for Jesse for instance and he's first, you have to sit an hour or so just hearing him only. Then it's Jordin.
This way, you get tortured for only 6 or so minutes, then you hear your favorite songs for 6 minutes then tortured again XD =P
LOL. I guess some people end up enjoying. At this concert I wrote about, next to me there were some girls who were there just to watch HIM and not her. But she is the biggest star in Mexico, of course at the beginning they were like UGH, I WANT TO GET OUT OF HERE, but 10 minutes later they were singing her songs even more than me
