The Carrie Diaries to get canceled

The last new scripted show for the CW this season, The 100, finally makes its premiere this week. Expect its prediction, and likely an update for The Tomorrow People next Tuesday. Note for the impatient: this was written and posted before last night's Monday premiere ratings for The Tomorrow People were known.
Last year the bear had a big prediction swing and a miss on The Carrie Diaries, but this Spring instead of 2013's 73% of the CW's scripted ratings average, the show managed just 50%. With the CW having already renewed 5 shows, Hart Of Dixie a certain sixth, and The 100 (and far less likely, The Tomorrow People) a possible seventh, no more Fall schedule holes need to be plugged by low rated veterans, sorry Carrie.
While The Carrie Diaries cancellation certainty has been in the headline before, now the search engines have another bite at it for frantic fans to search for this Spring (and for the grossly uninformed, next Fall!).
From now through the end of the broadcast season in May, the Renew/Cancel Index values will only be calculated using new episodes airing during 2014.
