No shade but why do I feel like a good majority of "fans" don't even like music in general.



It just feels like everybody is on a team of some sort placing bets on charts/achievements/sales etc.. Do you even like your favs music? Or do you just stan because he/she is successful?

I'm legitly curious though and this is not a troll thread. Cuz personally i wunt 2 die knowing that i enjoyed the music i listened to, not if other people did But I feel like most people are not on the same page here.

I love music.

I stan for success, hotness and personality.

My Faves aren't successful

That's a bad example, obviously most Lana fans stan for success.

A lot of people on here actually do love Pop music.

people feel that their love for certain artists is validated when that said artist does well on the chart and they feed off that especially if their's another artist that is pitted against their fave , but after all is said and done it's the joy we get from the music that matters , as much fun as it can be to play the stan war game people shouldn't get too deep in it to the point where they deprive themselves from enjoying all these different artists

I love many different genres of music, including pop music. I'm sure those fans love music. They just prefer their music to be successful.

Music is subjective though.

Yes specially because Pop incorporates elements of many other genres. Being on ATRL makes it hard to stan for talent and quality since everybody is so worried about charts, "impact" and popularity. Its fun and all but it can get annoying sometimes.

I love all music tbh except maybe chop n screw rap n screamo

I just simply like any sound that makes my ears feel good
