Apparently CBS doesn't realize that Stephen Colbert plays a character on his show. They have no idea how he acts in real life.

I hope they don't change him to much. I'm a religious watcher of the Colbert Report and this worries me. Good for him though.

I'm so conflicted about this. I think he's WAY funnier and wittier than Letterman and is more than suitable for the job, but at the same time I'm worried that he's gonna have to tame his humor for network TV. He's perfect where he is right now.
